This admendment gave women the right regardless of their sex. The amendment was the climax of the women's suffrage movement in the United States of America. -
Admendment 24
This admendment states that even if you can't pay a poll tax, you can still vote. For example; most African Americans couldn't because they were poor. -
The Voting Rights Act
This act protected the right to vote for all citizens. The law forced the states to obey the constitution. The constitution made it clear that the right to vote can't be denied because of the color.
