Leica Camera

The first Leica camera appears in 1913
this camera was created by Oskar Barnack.

Kodak brought to the market a camera that used reels of rolling film instead of flat plates.

The new gelatine-bromide dry plates were developed, which could be industrially produced and marketed without limitations.
This event was very important because the dry plates were commercialized.

Nicephore Niepce obtained some photographic images unpublished.
the oldest photo is a reproduction of the image meeting like Vista from the window in Le Gras.

Capture Images

1801 BCE

Thomas Wedgwood made new discoveries to capture images but, he could not achieve fix them properly. Also his investigation contributed to development of photography and he was the first man to think of and develop a method to copy visible images chemically to permanent media.

Carl Wilhelm Scheele published his treatise about the silver salts and the action of light.
