Rolls Royce was created by Henry Royce and Charles Rolls in 1904. Rolls-Royce was founded in the UK. The first model was a Six-Cylinder Silver Ghost. -
Rolls-Royce Closing
During the Great Depression Rolls-Royce in America were not selling and forced them to close there. People couldn't afford to pay for an expensive car. -
New cars
In 1959 a new model called Silver Wraith was redesigned and had a individual coach-built body. -
Rolls-Royce growing
In the 1980's Bentley came along and was competition for Rolls-Royce. They are both high in cars that everyone wants. Rolls-Royce had been around for awhile and was very good at what they were building. -
Adding on to the brand
In 1990 BMW joined Rolls-Royce. With them making more cars now they were making tons of money.
