What is Propaganda?
Propaganda is generally carried out through mass media and basically persuades many goups of people. Although there may be some defintions for propaganda and the right ideas, definition is still in question. -

In World War One, propaganda flooded the newspaper, and any mode of news to join and help the army fight in the war. This made a huge impact on everyone. While the propaganda was long ways away from being right, and explaining the experience, this proves that there were no journalists at all during this harsh time, however, this did help the war effort quite a bit. -
Radio
When the radio was invented, and was up for purchase, propaganda was spreaded through radio in the earlier days. This saved time, and propaganda was heard in seconds, instead of person to person. -
Herbert Hoover and his Propaganda
As we all know, Herbert Hoover was the president during some time in the United States. However, his propaganda for his campaign was pretty unclear. This advertisement to vote for him promised a nice beautiful house, a prosperous economy, and a well government, but the end was not as happy. The stock market crashed during his time as president, but that wasn't all, the Great Depression occured, and that effected the states in many ways. -

During this time, the germans had created a propaganda that would change everything for the people in europe: mostly jews in this case. Little did they know, how this effected them negatively, and not actually help them like it was supposed to. The germans thought that the nazis will help them from corruting, and such- a safeguard. As we all know by now, that was not the case at all. -

When the first broadcast was aired, and the television was in fact sold in stores, propaganda had started to impact the veiwers. This invention "boosted" the propaganda industries because of it's visual communications. -

When the internet became a global sensation, the propaganda added it's industries to the internet as well. This also became quite a sensation, due to long-distance communication.
