Phil traveles to Japan and has an interview with the owner of tiger shoes and agrees to sell Tiger shoes to American Athletes under a company he called Blue Ribbon Sports. -
New salesman
With a gross netcome of $8,000 in sales of tiger shoes, phil decides to hire a full time salesman, Jeff Johnson. -
Developement of the swoosh
Caroline Davidson developes the nike logo for $35.00. The swoosh represents the wings on the Greek Godess of NIKE. -
The First NIKE Shoe
On this day Phil night with the help of Bill Bowerman, Jeff Johnson, and Caroline Davidson release the first shoe of milions to be produced under the NIKE brand. -
