The World's First Editing Machine
Moviola was an editing machine that was invented by a man named Iwan Serrurier. The original use for this machine was an at home projector, but later a man at Douglas Fairbanks Studios gave Iwan an idea to make it into an editing machine. Iwan sold the first one for $600 in the 20s ($7000 today) and he sold the first one to Douglas Fairbanks Studios.
