Otto Lilienthal's Airplane Trials and Study

First Flight
In North Carolina, the first sustained and controlled flight of an object up in the air was executed by the Wright Brothers. Wilbur and Orville Wright flew the plane a total of 37 meters. First All-Metal Plane
The first all metal plane was created by a group of German Junkers company. The Junkers J 1 named the 1st metal plane a "Tin Donkey". This plane flew very little and never fought in WW1.
