    The first inflatable ball was made in 1862 by H.J. Lindon, and 40 years later there was a new ball made with stronger leather for more durability. The ball was durable and heavy and that made it very hard to kick and head.

    In 1963 the first synthetic ball was made by Jacques Barralon, this ball was a great success. After this ball they all started to get better and better.
