Nick and Allie cross into Everlost
A boy named Nick and girl named Allie both happen to die in a car accident. They wake up and caught by surprise, they find themselves in the ghost world, Everlost. It took time until they finally accepted it, but they soon decided to head home to find out if their parents survived the accident. On their way, they meet a boy whose name was long forgotten, and so they settle with calling him Lief. -
Nick, Allie and Lief find Johnnie-O's gang.
Nick, Allie and Lief head out into the city to find their way back home, but find out that by standing still, one will sink into the ground. They unfortunately stumble upon Johnny-O and his gang. The gang tries to sink them underground. Nick, Allie and Lief manage to make their escape -
Nick, Allie and Lief find Mary and the towers.
Nick, Allie and Lief find the twin towers. This is where Mary Hightower lives and kept taking care of a lot of others who were sent into Everlost. -
Nick and Lief get caught by the haunter.
Allie decided to go see the Haunter. The Haunter was said to be able to make contact with the real world, and Allie was curious so she dragged Nick and Lief with her. Unfortunately, the Haunter caught Nick and Lief. Allie was the only one that hadn’t been caught and Mary refused to help. -
The McGill kidnaps Nick and Lief!
The McGill caught Nick and Lief and trapped the Haunter into his barrel. When Allie found out, she went to save Nick and Lief alone. -
Allie tricks the McGill.
Allie tricked the McGill into making him think she'll teach him how to skinjack (control) other people. She said that she will only teach him if he releases Nick and Lief. -
Nick escapes and finds help.
Nick escapes the McGill's ship and finds his way towards Mary. He manages to convince her and so they set out together to help rescue the chimed kids and defeat the McGill. -
The McGill is defeated!
As the McGill sailed back to land, the chimed kids were rescued and defeated the McGill. Nick and Mary made their way back to the towers along with all the kids. -
Nick gives out coins.
When Nick, Mary and the kids arrive at the towers, Nick gave each kid a coin from the fountain, which would grant them their wishes. Every kid with a coin was sent to presumably heaven. Mary did not like this and introduced Nick to every new person that crossed as the “Chocolate Ogre,” who kidnaps kids and nobody knows where he sends them.
