    They were borders created after WW2. The Soviets controlled these regimes to control and prevent emigration and infiltration.

    This was an attempt by the Soviet Union to limit the ability of the United States. Great Britain and France travel back to their respective sectors.

    It was created in April 4, 1949. The purpose of the foundation was to secure peace in Europe and cooperation among its members.

    When the North Korean communist army invaded South Korea, they were quickly overrun. The United States had to get involved and quickly came to South Korea's aid.

    During the Cold War communism spread to many countries such as Vietnam. Due to Vietnam also defeated by France, they wanted to unify the Soviet Union and be liberated.

    The Egyptian government decided to seize control of the Suez Canal. The canal was considered a world power and the Egyptians won.

    Cuban Missile Crisis
    A U-2 spy plane was secretly flying over Cuba to see the activity going on there. They photographed the Soviets creating nuclear missile sites on the island of Cuba.

    The Soviet Union invaded Czechoslovakia to disperse reformist trends in Prague. They succeeded in stopping it, but later on this will lead to their demise.
