The plan was to have to air strikes agiainst Cuban air bases. Then a 1400 man attack happened as a surprise attack. On April 15th eight bombers left Nicaragua. Bombers missed most of their targets and left Cubans air force intact. April 17, the Cuban-exile invasion force landed at beaches along the Bay of Pigs and immediately came under heavy fire. -
