Boston Tea Party
American Political protest by the sons of liberty in Boston. American colonists dumped tons of British tea into the harbor to protest a tax on tea. Doing so increases the tension between America and Britain. -
Intolerable Acts(Coercive Acts)
A series of 4 laws passed to punish the state of Massachusetts Bay for the Boston Tea Party. Parliament passed four acts that they described as the Coercive Acts but quickly became known in America as the Intolerable Acts because they were perceived as being so cruel and severe. -

An agreement was made between the large and small U.S. states. For every state, it could now have 2 senators and the number of congressmen was determined by the population of the state. -

An agreement between the north and the south. The agreement states that every enslaved person was to be counted as 3/5 of a person for taxation and representation purposes. -
Constitutional Convention
The point of the event was to decide how America was going to be governed. Although the Convention had been officially called to revise the existing Articles of Confederation, many delegates had much bigger plans.
