Saratoga Video LinkThe Battles of Saratoga were fought on two different days- September 19, 1777 and October 7, 1777. The British barely won the first battle. But the turning point was the second battle. The Patriots won the second battle, and captured over 6000 British soldiers. Because of these captures, the British troops were forced to surrender. The Patriots got many supplies, like weapons and ammo, and they also got allies, like France and Spain. This was a turning point in the war for the Patriots. #Huzzah! -

Low Point- Valley Forge
Valley Forge Link Valley Forge was the military camp for the Continental Army. It was the worst point of the war. About 2,500 soldiers died of disease, starvation, and the freezzing weather.
