  • Birth

    Born in Matsudo, Japan in the Chiba Prefecture on a sunny Saturday morning. First child of Kayoko and Dan Hebert.
  • Started Kindergarten

    Started Kindergarten at Seifuu Youchien.
  • Moved to Tokyo

    Moved from the Chiba Prefecture to the Tokyo Prefecture.
  • Started Grade School

    Started grade 1 at Aoba Japan International School.
  • Changed Schools

    Changed from Aoba Japan International School to British School in Tokyo during grade 3.
  • Massive Earthquake and Tsunami hit Japan east coast

    During the middle of grade 3, near the end of the school day, a massive earthquake of magnitude 9 hit Japan. The earthquake was shortly followed with a huge tsunami which killed over 22,000 people. The tsunami damaged several nuclear power plants near the coast, which caused them to explode and release huge amounts of radioactive material in the air, resulting in an evacuation of around 170,000 people. The Fukushima disaster was the most significant nuclear incident since the Chernobyl accident.
  • Moved to Canada

    Moved from Japan to Canada near the end of 2011.
  • Finished Elementary School

    Successfully completed elementary school at McKee Public School.
  • Moved houses and started at Willowdale Middle School

    Moved from the house near McKee to live near Willowdale Middle School.
  • Started at Northview Heights Secondary School

    Completed Willowdale Middle School and started at Northview Heights Secondary School.
