    Benito Mussilini of Italy wanted a new Roman empire. He invaded Ethiopia, and the Brithis stopped them. Hitler was on the side of Benito Mussillini, so they created an alliance.
  • Formation of Rome-Berlin Axis

    Formation of Rome-Berlin Axis
    Mussolini and Hitler made an agreeement recognizing their common political and econimic interest. One month later, they spoke out of their new alliance between Italy and Germany called the Rome_Berlin Axis
  • Hitler demands the sudetenland

    Hitler demands the sudetenland
    He demanded that Germany be given the Sudetenland an area in the northwestern Czechoslovakia. And expressed his willingness to start a "world war" to achieve his objective.
  • Hitler invades Poland

    German forces invade Poland and 2 days later Britain and France declared war on German.
  • Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor

    Japan badly needed the oil and scraps iron it was getting from the US. Japan viewed the possibility of sanctions as a threat to its long-term objectives. Japan attact the US.
