    the stocl prices began to fall drastically when no one had the money to buy them anymore, as the banks had reoposed everything. millions of people all over the world, not just in the United States, were left unemployed,
    the unelployment allowed for new jobs in the "War industries" to suddenly become very popular

    Everyone was borrowing money from the banks so that they could be stocks, and the banks needed the money back, so they demanded instant repayment of the loans, causing massive loss for everyone who had borrowed money.
    People were poor nd wanted someone to blame, so they pinned on the Jewish cominuty

    Japan wanted more industry, so they invaded a chunck of China and blew up a railway, but made it look as though the Chinese had done it themselves. They used that as an excuse to come in and "stableize" the area.

    passed to suspend the republican goverment for four years in order to give Hitler absolute power, which he had no intention of returing. this allowed the Nazis to opperate with no constitutional restrictions
    this gave Hitler almost absolute powere, which he sed to pass anti jew laws and such

    Hitler gained control thorugh entirely legal means. He used propaganda and mob mentality to his advantage to become elected vice chancllor of Germany, and then took power after his procssesor died.

    by placing troops in this area, Germany violated a peace treaty that had been set in place at the end of WW1. they moved troopd into the area between Germany and France
  • Rape of Nanjing

    Rape of Nanjing
    Japan made anothrt pointed attack agaisnt China, an attempt to "free the area from western imperializm". the incident was named the cruelty shown towards the citizens of the area, particually towards the women.

  • Anschluss

    the offical merge of Austria and Germany, when Hitler took total control of Austria. Generally accepted with smiles by both parties. Gained suport by solving economic problems there

    Hitler wanted to gain control of Czechoslavakia, and proclaimed that they would have to surrender to Nazi rule or be invaded. terms agreed to at the peace confrence in Munich in October. Leaders of Britain, France, Itally, and Germany all in attendence.

    Democratin countries pledged suport for countries in danger of German aggression, but nothing was activly done, allowing Hitler tons of time to gather suplies and forces
