    The war was the 1700-1721. The war was not constantly going on throughout that period. It was off and on. They were fighting over the Baltic Region. Sweeden lost the war and Russia won. They have 4 peace treaties were brought for them to be stable.
  • The Decembrist Revolt

    This event is part of the Russian Revolution. This event included about 3,000 members of the military. It was all because the death of Alexander I. The rebels felt Constantine had cheated to becoming czar. They started organizing a plan. Nicholas sent a general to reason with the rebels. The general got shot and fataly stabbed during his speech. Nicholas then realized it wasn't going to be peaceful, so he fired canons on rebels. The rest froze to death in a river.

    It was the outcome of the Crimean War. It gave liberty to millions. In 1881 he was killed. HIs son Alexander III wasn't a very good ruler.

Alexander III thought "Russia was to be saved from anarchy and revolutionary dissent". His goal was to make 1 religion, 1 nationality, 1 language, and 1 form of administrative.

    Japan prepared for the war by strengthening army and navy. Nicholas didnt get along wit Japan and Japan didnt get along with Russia. The effect of that was the war. It forced Russia to leave the expansionist policy. Russia finally lost.

Then realized it and created a house of representatives, but it barely had any power. Nicholas II didnt't get along with other countries.     It only lasted 1 week. During that time for the first time the government was being controlled by Constitutional Democracy. In july, Aleksandr was in power. Aleksandr wanted to continue the Revolution, but the Russians didn't want to so they didn't.
