  • The Great Northern War

    The Great Northern War
    The great Nothern war Started in 1700, and it ended in 1721. It was between Poland and Russia. Polland killed 21,000 men in the fall of 1700. Peter the Great didn't have his army under control.
  • Czar Nicholas started to dictate

     Czar Nicholas started to dictate
    Nicholas I was one of the rulers of russia. He was one of the War commanders. He fought in several wars. He loved his family, and was always with them.
  • The Decembrist revolt

    The Decembrist revolt
    A small group of Nobles and army officers tried to overthrow the czar's goverment. Czar Nicholas I quickly crushed the uprising. He exicuted five leaders and exiled hundreds more in Siberia.
  • The Assassination of Alexander II

    Alexander II was assinated on March 13, 1881. The assinator was hung in front of the whole city. Alexander II was assinated because of Emancipation of the serfs, and Russia's czarist autocrats. They also murdered a bunch of officers and others important people.

    The Russo-Japanese war was in 1904- and 1905. The war was about Millitary conflict. In which was a victory for Japan forced Russia to to abandon its expansion to the far east.Japan wanted to take over Korea. Japan also wanted to take over Korea. That is what caused the war.

    It all started with a peacefull protest. It was the turning part of the Czar. This was led by a Russian Othadox preist. There were 150,000 people who protested.
  • The beggining of World War 1

    The spark that started World War I was the assassination of Austria's Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie. Austria-Hungary made sure they could get Germany to back them up before attacting Serbia.Serbia was allies with Russia at the time. One of the U.S.A ships had been blow up by Germans, in 1915. Then the U.S.A. had gotton in, and Russia got out.
  • The March Revolution

    On the 4th of march workers of the citys largest factories, demanded a 50% pay increase. They had to buy food, and manage to pay the bills. The owners said no, and the workers went on strike.March 8, the workers were locked out. On march 12th, Czar Nickolas I created Druma, to control the riots.
  • Bloody Sunday

    Bloody Sunday
    On 30 January 1972, a civil rights demonstration rolled down the streets of Londonderry in north-west Northern Ireland. It Ended with the shooting dead of 13 civilians by the British Army. It was a huge massucre and the 13 made sure nobody existed after that day. They did this so nobody will see what they were doing.
  • Czar Alexander II Emancipates the Serfs

    It was very important that the serfs were set free. The serfs lived a terible life. The money that they made, all went to pay for the taxes. They didn't make any profit. After Alexander II set them free they were able to own their own land,buy land form their prevous land owners estate. If they did buy land, they would never get enough money to pay for it.
