    Missouri was a slave state while main was a non-Slave state. Overall it had some good stuff but it did not solve any big problems but it solved some.

    In 1849 Harriet became a free person and when she became free she helped other slaves escape by using Underground railroad and lead them through the woods. This was great because she helped en slaved people escape.

    It was a compromise in which tension between the slave states and the non slave states was ended Temporarily by passing 5 bills in congress. This was a pretty good thing but sadly it did not last to long.

    The Act made it so all slaves had to go back to their original owner even if they were free slaves, It was part of the 1850 compromise. This was not a right thing to do because if slaves worked so hard to be freed they would just have to go back anyways, also this went against the constitution

    This was when the residents of their states got to deside whether or not slavery should be alowed in their borders. fredrick thought that solving slavery was so important and he thought it importance to the Kansas nebraska act. This was very good because douglass wanted to solve slavery, but it was up to the people and a lot of them said no.

    The book was very important in history because, Harriet Beecher Stowe shared ideas about the injustices of slavery, This was a very good thing because Harriet needed to spread the word.

    The Kansas Nebraska Act repealed the Missouri Compromise created 2 new territories and allowed for popular sovereignty. It also produced a violent uprising known as Bleeding Kansas. It was good because it allowed people to decide if slavery should be allowed or not but it did cause the Bleeding Kansas which was not good.

    The bleeding kansas was a series of violent civil confrontations in Kansas Territory, and to a lesser extent in western Missouri, between 1854 and 1859. But John brown led a gruop to try and stop them. It was good that a group stepped up to try and stop them.
