    The March on Rome was started by Mussolini and the main goal was to take over Rome. There wasn't much of a fight though because the king of Rome didn't want to go against the fascist movement because he feared that he would lose his throne if he did.

    The Japanese invades Manchuria because they want control of all of East Asia, also their population was growing rapidly and thought nothing of the Chinese people so they had no problem with invading them. They also wanted their natural resources to make Japan's economy better. When Japan invaded the League of Nations did nothing to stop them.

    When the Nazi party is still growing in Germany, Hitler creates a position in their government called " Chancellor" This role gives the person who has it an extreme amount of power. The first time Hitler tried to get this role he is denied. Later he tries again and he is given the role, this is the beginning of his gaining large amounts of power.

    The Rape of Nanjing was a mass killing by the Japanese against the Nanjing people. It lasted for 6 weeks and it is estimated that 300,000 people died.

    The soviet non-aggression pact was signed between Germany and the USSR. This pact says that the 2 countries will not take military actions against each other for 10 years.
