With only 100 soldiers defending San Antonio and the rest gone home to visit their families it was up to the rest fo the soldiers to protect the town from Santa Anna's army.
Instead of obeying orders, they decided to fortify an old fort called the ALAMO
ended on December 11 1835 -
Battle of Concepcion
Texan army and Mexican army fought near the San Antonio river and the Texans somehow defeated the Mexicans who had over 400 soldiers and they (Mexicans)had to fall back due to the number of people injured. -
