French and Indian War
The French and Indian war ended in 1763, the Treaty of Paris. The French force was driven out of North America.
Cause: British want to take conrol French trade.
Effect:: British feel like colonist does not support them and raises taxes -

Stamp Act
This is the time when the British put taxes on all paper items like lecenses and playing cards. the colonist protested.
Cause: The French and Indian war gave Britan debt so they put tax on paper items.

The Declaratory Act was an act placed to repeal the stamp act.
Cause: The stamp act.
Effect: Colonist were happy. -
Townshend Acts
An act placed to collect money from the colonies to help pay for govenors and judges.
Cause: Britan was in debt.
Effect: Colonists were mad again. -
Boston Massacre
British soilders killed five boston colonist.
Cause: Colonists were mad so they threw stuff at the soldiers.
Effect: Colonist began to plan rebellions. -
Tea Act
An act that was placed tax on tea and got rid of surplus of tea.
Cause: Britan was mad at how the colonists were starting to act against the government.
Effect: The colonists get mad at the tea getting extra taxes on it. -
Boston Tea Party
Colonist dressed up as indians and threw tea into the boston harbor in an angry reaction against the British.
Cause: The Tea Act.
Effect: Britan got extra mad at the colonists. -
Intolerable Acts
Punishment for the boston tea party.
