  • The FAYZ begins

    Everyone over the age of 15 suddenly disappears.

  • Sam saves girl from burning building

    Sam rescues young girl and discovers that she has powers, just like him.

  • Lana heals herself

    Lana becomes very badly injured from a car accident, but founds out that she has a power which enables her to heal things.

  • Little Pete is found at the power plant

    Little Pete, Astrid's younger brother, is found by Astrid, Sam, Quinn and Edilio.

  • Perdido Beach is taken over

    Caine, Diana and Drake, along with many others, arrive at Perdido Beach and become leaders.

  • Caine discovers that he and Sam are twins, separated at birth

    Whilst looking through everyone's personal files, Diana finds out that Caine and Sam are brothers.

  • Bette is murdered

    Drake kills Bette for not following the rules.

  • Sam and Astrid are held hostage

    Caine is threatened by Sam and Astrid, so he captures them. However, Little Pete teleports them has a teleporting power helps them escape.

  • Lana meets the 'Darkness'

    Talking coyotes lead Lana to the 'Darkness'. It will attempt to take control of Lana.

  • Sam burns Drake's arm off

    Sam discovers that Drake is holding innocent kids captive and is immobilising their hands by putting them in cement blocks. Sam uses his power to burn his arm off and saves the kids.

  • Sam and Astrid Discover that Little Pete caused the FAYZ

    While Sam and Astrid are at the power plant, they look at the security cameras and find footage of Little Pete causing the FAYZ.

  • The 'Darkness' gives Drake a whip arm

    The 'Darkness' gives Drake an arm like a whip in turn for his help.

  • Sam and Caine's birthday

    On Sam and Caine's 15th birthday, they do not disappear like the others in the FAYZ.

  • Coyotes attack the preschool

    The coyotes break into the preschool and get Sam to admit he has been defeated.

  • The Church falls

    As a result of Sam and Caine's physical fight, the Church falls and causes people to be trapped inside.

  • Caine and his group flee

    Caine and his group flee from Perdido Beach to plan another attack on Sam

  • Thanksgiving Feast

    At the end of the novel, a kid named Albert prepares a Thanksgiving Feast for everyone.
