The Battle of Britain was between British Air Force and German Air Force. From July 10th to October 31st, was the first battle in history taken only in air. Both sides battled for control of airspace over Great Britain. -

Operation Barbarossa was the code name for the Axis invasion of the Soviet Union. It started on June 22nd 1941 and ended December 5th 1941. The idea of the invasion was to get as many Germans into the western Soviet Union, and also to use some of the taken people as slaves. -

Yalta Conference
The Yalta Conference took place February 4th and ended February 11th 1945. This was a meeting between head governments of country’s affected by the war. The purpose of the conference was to discuss the postwar reorganization of Germany and Europe.
