This was a battle between the British Royal Air Force and the German Luftwaffe. The Air Force was protecting the United Kingdom from Luftwaffe attacks.

Operation Barbarossa

Jun 22, 1941

Hitler broke the German-Soviet non aggression pact,and invaded the Soviet Union in hopes to capture Russia. Eventually Stalin moved factories to where the luftwaffe couldn’t touch them and the Germans realized Russia is too big.

Operation Torch

This was a plan that Britain and America were doing. American aircrafts would bomb factories, rail yards, oil fields, and manufacturing centers during the day while Britain aircrafts would bomb German cities in the night.

Operation Overlord

Operation Overlord, aka. The Normandy Invasion was an attack by the Allies on a coast northern of France. There were land forces from the U.S. Britain, Canada, and Free France. Later on more countries came and also provided air and naval support.

This was a meeting held during WWII to discuss the reestablishment of nations in Europe.

Battle of Berlin

Apr 16, 1945

This battle was the final major offensive of the European theater. It was a battle between the Red Army (Soviets) and Germany. The Red Army pushed towards Berlin and the Germans were disorganized. The defenses were mainly Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS divisions, with Hitler youth, and poorly trained Volkssturm. The Germans fought westward so they can surrender to the Western Allies rather than the Soviets.
