In the end, the battle was won by the Royal Air Force.

British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin. In this conference they agreed that after Germans unconditional surrender that it should be divided into four post-war occupation zones. These zones being controlled by the U.S, British, French, and Soviet Militaries.
