    Battle of Britain
    The United States agreed to transfer 50 old destroyers to the British fleet and exchange for naval bases in the Western hemisphere. Roosevelt made a new plan called the lend lease plan in which America would send Britain weapons to borrow.
    After seeing that America lent weapons to Britain, Hitler declared war against America. Britain won the battle against Germany and Hitler started a terror bombing campaign trying to intimidate Britain and make them surrender.

    Hitler broke the German-Soviet-non-aggression pact on June 22, 1941 Germany attacked the Soviet Union in hopes of gaining many Agricultural and economic sources, causing the largest land invasion in history. After surviving in the Soviet Union with very harsh winter conditions, The German army finally retreated in December, 1941 after suffering 850,000 casualties at the battle of Stalingrad alone. During the battle, 25 million Soviet soldiers and civilians died.

    North Africa Britain’s victory at El Alamein 1942 begin pushing the Germans out of Africa, in November 1 American combat troops entered the European war, landing in French morocco. The American troops were pushing the Germans east while the British troops pushed them west, by 1943 the allied powers had pushed the axis forces out of Africa. After the Germans surrendered in the Soviet union, Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill met in November 1943 and they scheduled an invasion on France in 1944

    This was a meeting during World War II, the heads of government of the United States, United Kingdom, and the Soviet union came to a compromise. The meetings main purpose was to discuss the reestablishment of the nations of Europe where the war was the worst. But the war did not end until May 8 because the Germans wanted to get out of the reach of the Soviet army so that they could surrender to the allied powers instead. The war caused many economic troubles such as homelessness and low economy
