    On the Morning of September, 3 1939 the German army launched an invasion on poland, sending about 1,500,000 troops towards the city of poland, and a german u-boat fleet was sent to attack a Polish fleet in the Baltic Sea. Hitler claimed that all of this was a "Defensive action" However France and Britain were like "Heck No it wasn't".

    The Battle of The Bulge
    On December, 16th 1940 the German army planned to launch a blitzkrieg attack on American troops through Ardennes to Antwerp. Sadly, the inexperienced American troops got annihilated, however the attack was stopped in Ardennes by bulge (wall or fortification) of American troops, giving this battle its name. With over 100,000 American casualties, this battle is considered a draw, since the German attack was stopped eventually, but their were thousands of casualties.

    The Battle of Stalingrad
    One of the bloodiest battles of WWII,The Battle of Stalingrad was a major turning point for the soviets, and the allies, The battle began in September 3, 1942 when Hitter and the German army tried to take the city of Stalingrad from the soviets in order to use it as a place to launch more attacks in the Caucaus. The Germans held the siege for a month, until their supplies started running low, and the Germans finally surrendered with over 150,000 casualties on February 2, 1943.
  • Invasion of Normandy

    Invasion of Normandy
    This is one of the most known battles of WWII, and it lasted from June 1944 to August 1944. On June 6th, 1944 the allies (U.S, Russia, Britain, and France). The troops landed on the beach in early morning on June 6th, and a large aeiral assault was also on its way to the city of Normandy, planning to take it from Hitler's army. After 2 months of the siege, the Allies finally reached the Seine river, where they drove the Germans out of Northwestern France.

    The Battle of Berlin
    On April 16th, 1945 Joseph Stalin launched an enormous attack on the city of Berlin planning it take from hitter and the German forces. Stalin sent an army of over 1,500,00 soldiers, aircrafts, and artillery. After losing thousands of soldiers and leaving the city of Berlin in rubble, the Germans finally surrendered on May 2nd, which lead up to the Germans defeat of WWII when they surrendered on May 7th, 1945.
