Remilitarization of the Rhineland

This incident happened to be a failed act of appeasement toward Germany by the Allies. Germany was able to get return Sudentaland which was formally theirs. However, using their military force, Germany also annexed the Czechoslovakia which became the problem and violated the Treaty of Versailles. -

Refusing to follow the Treaty of Versailles, Germany annexed the Poland with their military power which marked the start of World War II. This event was significant since every super power countries related to TOV had to fight with Germany and his allies. -
Siege and fall of Warsaw
Allies tried to defend Warsaw, the Northern main country of the Europe, however failed. Germany within 20 days were able to conquer most of the East of Europe which made other countries more anxious. -
Swastika flag rises over Versailles and Paris
German Western campaign shattered the Allies lines. Within six weeks, Paris fell over to the Germany and Swastika flag was hanged all over even in Eiffel tower and Versailles. -
The Blitz
The Blitz was a strategic bombing of England by the Germany. London was attacked 71 times as well as the other cities with heavilly armed raids. However, the bombing did not achieve its goal to make England surrender and economically challenged. -
Battle of Stalingrad
Germany was desperatly fighting Russia to seige the Stalingrad however failed to achieve due to the extreme cold weather and Russian forces. German Sixth Army of Russia was crushed during this massive battle and it showed a decline of Germany. -
D-Day
General Dwight Eisenhower led U.S. and Allied troops in an invasion of Normandy, France. This was a turning point of WWII since Allies finally gained excess to retake France from Germany. This made harder for Germany since Allies attacked Germany from the West, and Russia was attacking in the East. -
Germany Surrenders
In May 7 1945, Germany finally surrendered to the Allies ending the World War II. Their armies were crushed and Hitler suicied.
