Small revolutions throughout Europe started due to people wanting constitutional government. Revolts were small in power compared to the national power. These revolutions failed, but they set the fuel for later revolutions. -
Greece revolts
The Greeks were under the rule of the Ottomans until 1820 when they revolted. They had the support of most of Europe, but Europe put a German prince on their thrown. -
Belgium revolts
The people of begum did not like how the Congress of Vienna united their country with people that were very different, so they revolted. one reason being that they were catholic while the dutch were protestant. -
Revolutions of 1848
France starts revolts to overthrow the government. People wanted greater say in politics. This caused other revolutions in other countries. -
Revolutions fail
Revolutions for freedom were spread out across the Europe. they did not have enough support from each other. This ended the age of liberal revolution. -
