    The Renaissance was deemed to be a cultural and scholarly movement which emphasized on the rediscovery and application of texts and believed from classical antiquity. Happening in Europe 1400 – c. 1600. The Renaissance can also point to the period of European history.

    The Renaissance period lasted from the 14th to the 16th century. Renaissance is also know as rebirth. It was a time of great scientific, artistic, cultural and intellectual development. Copernicus discovered that the sun was the centre of the solar system.

    It was the final major epidemic of the bubonic plague it took place in New England. The bubonic Plague started in 1347 in Europe. They called the bubonic pague “Black Death” which kept going on until it ended in 1750.

    The Agriculture prices dropped dangering the power of aristocracy. The Plague destroyed 1 quarter of the population and from 1348-1351 more than 1 million men, women and children suffered and died because of this disease. Towns and villages told local health boards to develop and enforce sanitation procedures.

    The Gunpowder Plot was the last Catholic Plot in England. If any Catholics with any reach of the Gunpowder Plot were fined and token to jail. In 1606 the Popish Recusants Act increased fines for rechsants. The Catholics Were ordered to take an oath of allegiance.

    The Enlightenment has been defined in a lot of ways but at its biggest was a philosophical, movement taking place in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. It pointed to reason and freedom of thought over doctrine and superstition. Logic was now emerging in a worldview which stated that empirical observation and the examination of life.

    On the surface the most apparent cause of the Enlightenment was the Thirty Years’ War. This horribly destructive war, which lasted from 1618 to 1648. German writers to pen harsh criticisms regarding the ideas of nationalism and warfare. These authors, such as Hugo Grotius and John Comenius were the first people to go against tradition and propose better solutions.

    is that the Revolution destroyed the institutional underpinnings.

    It was a American initiative to help people in Europe and Asia. The United States offered them $17 billion to support them all. They also helped restructuring European economies following up to the end of wwII. This started to keep going on for 4 years they started it in April 1948.

    At the beginning this was just for people to have food and fuel. Some people though that this was criticism. In that America was following a concept for economic imperialism. They attempt to gain economic control of Europe.

    During the Cold War the Communist East German decide to build the Berlin Wall. A lot of East Germans fled to the democratic West because there was a geographical loophole. So at the night they built when every body was asleep and they did this on August 13 1961.

    The Berlin Wall effected a lot of things like some families couldn’t see each other. Many of the Berlin workers were fired from there jobs. People protested about the Wall and their mayor named Willy Brandt. Some people even tried to cross the Wall.
