Marco Polo and his father and uncle left there hometown in Venice,Italy ,and went on ajourney to China.Four years leter,the Polos arrived in China.There they saw the palace of Kublai Khan.One hall was so big it could fit more than 6,000 men.The Polos went to other places such as India and Persia, but Marco never made it to Japan.24 years later Marco returned with his pockets full of jewels.

In 1488 Bartholomeu Dias became the first to sail around the souther tip of Africa. Then the sailers became hungry and sick so they made him turn back around to Portugal. Ten years later Vasco Da Gama sailed around the Cape of Good Hope to India. Soon afterward he went back to Portugal with his ship full of spices. Finally, Da Gama found a sea route to Asia, showing the way for future explorations.

In 1492 the Tinos Greeted Christopher Columbus, a group of people from Germany paid Martin Behaim $75 to make a new kind of map in the shape of a ball which was the first globe ever made in europe and he called it his "Earth Apple".Hed made a mistake with his globe and forgot to put North and South America and Antartica on it.

Da Gama reaches Cape of Good Hope

When Pizzaro and his soldiers arrived,the Inca they went to civil war.The war was between two brothers and there names were Atahuallpa and Huascar.They asked Atahuallpa to accept t change to Christianity but he said no.He took Atahuallpa as a prisoner and later killed him.
