Rome is Captured by the Allies

The Allies invade Italy, which is not facist anymore. This removes the primary ally of Hitler. -
German Resources
Equipment shortages occured within the German army. Ex/ oil, nickel, tin, steel, iron, etc.
Moreover, the German regained superior aircrafts. -
Liberation of Paris
The most "romantic" event of the second world war. When the Americans drove the Germans out of Paris, and the French wanted to welcome their liberators. This brought great elation to the people of Paris in this dark time. -
Warsaw uprising
Polish react to the invading Nazi troops.Help from the Allies is provided, as well as the Red Army. -
Warsaw is surendered to the Germans.
The Nazis empower the Polish amry and the resistance provided by the Allies. -
Battle of Bulge Begins
The objetive was so that Hitler could concentrate on the Eastern front more than the Western Front. He believed this would result in Britain and US signing a treaty with them, if the German troops succeed. -
Battle of Bulge Finishes
Germans lost to this battle, eventually marking their defeat in the Western front. This leads to Hitler's downfall. -
Soviet soldiers regain Warsaw
Soviets invade Warsaw and liberate the weakeneded Nazi army. They regain this land for the Polish. -
Dresden is bombed by Allies
Dresden was targeted because it was in Nazi Germany, and also a headquarters for weapon development for the Nazis. Since the Allies were at war with the Germans, it made the most sense to go for the source of violence.
