Hitler become Chancellor of Germany
In 1930 as a result of the worldwide Depression, Germany enter in a crisis, this return of unemployment and hard times caused a great upsurge in support for Hitler. Hitler finally took power in 1933 as the Chancellor of Germany. -

Enabling Law
After Hitler took complete control, democracy in Germany became to an end when the Reichstag passed the so-called "Enabling Law". This law gave to Hitler the power to introduce future laws without the agreement of the Reichstag. -
The Soviet Union became a member of the League
The League invited the Soviet Union to became a member of the League, and Stalin accepted becaming part of it. These helped to maintain the peace all over Europe. -
Italy invaded Abyssinia
Italy invaded Abyssinia. the league tried to stop Italy through the use of economic sanctions. These did not include a ban on the sale of oil and they failed. After this the League was not taken seriously. -
Germany invaded the Rhineland
Hitler defied the Treaty of Versailles. He ordered German troops to march into the Rhineland. He took considerable risks in moving into the Rhineland becuse there was a good chance that France would send troops to resist the German forces and this would mean war, but this never happened. -

Hitler, with the support of the Sudeten Germans conquered the remainig part of Czechoslovakia, because Hitler was sure that neither Britain nor France would intervene in the invasion, and he was in the right. -

In early 1938 Austria was in a state of crisis. Local nazis were making difficult for the goverment of Chancellor kurt Schuschnigg. He visited Hitler for crisis talks in Germany in February 1938, but Hitler didn´t care about the conference, and invaded Austria one month later. -

Hitler send troops to invaded what was left of Czechoslovakia. Britain and France took no action. So Hitler took Czechoslovakia without any resistance. -

Adolf Hitler commited suicide by gunshop on Monday, 30 April 1945 in his bunker with his wife Eva, because he realized that he had loose the war. -
