    The Last Supper was the final meal Jesus shared with his disciples , the night before he was crucified. During the meal, Jesus predicted that one of his disciples would betray him. The Last Supper holds a special significance for Christians as it forms the basis of the Eucharist, a key Christian church service.

    The bread is a symbol because it represents life. it is also a symbol because the breaking of the bread was preformed by Jesus so know Christians accept the bread as the body of Christ. The wine is also a symbol because just like the bread it was shared at the Passover between Jesus and his disciples. The wine is given to Christians as the blood of Jesus. The white garment is a symbol because the white is used as the Christian colour of baptism. white symbolizes purity and clean of sin
