After having much military success, they decide to give Napoleon the position of 1st Consul. Soon after this, they give Napoleon Full authority and make him emperor for life. -
The Death of The Emperor
Napoleon took over much of Europe, but was ultimately defeated at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. The British then exiled him to St Helena. He died in May.
