The Seven Years' War was a war that took place between 1754 and 1763 the main conflict was in the seven-year period 1756–1763. It involved most of the great powers of the time like the European countries and it has changed the course of history in North America, which includes, changing us. The war was driven by the antagonism between Great Britain, France and Spain. This was caused because each country had an interest in Canada due to its rich trade and land.

From after 7 year war to beginning of war of 1812
  • The Royal Proclamation of 1763

    The Royal Proclamation of 1763
The Royal Proclamation said that Britain officialy claimed over new france they made the French either leave British North America or pledge allegiance to king Fredrict II and move to to St. Pierre and Miqueleon. This affects us because without it, there would be more French speaking provinces like Quebec and our life time would be different due to us living in a different region. We would be living in a different region because most of the people in Canada would be French, and not English
  • The Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris, also known as the Treaty of 1763, was signed on 10 February 1763 by the kingdoms of Great Britain, France and Spain, after Britain's victory over France and Spain during the Seven Years' War.
The signing of the treaty formally ended the Seven Years' War, in North America which marked the beginning of an era of British dominance outside Europe. The reason this treaty was caused is because Britain had taken Canada from the French and is now showing their power.
  • The Quebec act

    The Quebec act
The Quebec Act of 1774 was an act of the Parliament of Great Britain saying that:
    The province's territory was expanded.
Many people were outraged that theyre land was given back to France and did not like this act. The reason this affects us is because if this was not there, many more land would belong to Ontario, so real estate would be cheaper and we would probably live somewhere else.
  • The American revolution starts

    The American revolution starts
This American revolution affects us because the new U.S.A decided that they did not like the Quebec act and wanted Canada to suffer. The Americans waged a war on Canada and tried to take over but failed in their attacks. This would have affected us because if America had won, then we would legally be citizens of the United States and not have things like free healthcare or nobody is flying planes into our buildings and we are cleaner and one of the most apologetic countries in the world.
  • Loyalists and the Constitutional Act of 1791

Loyalists and the Constitutional Act of 1791
Was a act of the British Parliament to create Upper Canada and Lower Canada. The reason this took place is because the Canadians were pressured by the loyalists. If this didnt happen more people would move to lower Canada and leave Upper Canada. This would make lower Canada much more populated.
  • War of 1812

    War of 1812
The War of 1812 was a 2 year 8 month military conflict between the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and its North American colonies. The outcome resolved many issues which remained from the American War of Independence. The war was fought in three principal theatres. Firstly, at sea, , then on the Canadian border and lastly on the gulf coast. If America had won, then we would be changed like being Citizens of America and being one of the most obese countrie.
