Period: to
Z1
Zuse builds first program-controlled computer named "Z1"
-limited programs
-calculator
-instructions -
Z2
Because Z1 was mechanically incapable of operating, Zuse made it a goal to invent a better model, thus creating: Z2
-fixed point arithmetics -
S1 & S2
During Zuse's time spent in Germany during the 1940's, he was able to create machines for the German government.
-understood corrections in aerodynamics -
Period: to
Berlin/German Affiliation
Although it seemed like he was given a lot of resources and opportunities through Nazi, Germany such as research sites, personnel, workshops, and more to further his inventions; he never joined the Nazi Party in Germany. -
Zuse Apparatebau
With help from another company in providing research sources, Zuse was able to establish his own company -
Z3
Directly after establishing a company, he elaborated onto his previous creations of Z1, and Z2. His third creation being named Z3 -
The Fall of Zuse Apparatebau
Being out in Berlin, it was still a war zone with World War II very prevalent during the time. His research outlet was bombed which caused him to halt his advances, and have to move immediately to Germany. -
"Plan Calculus"
To a lot of mathematicians and computer science intellects, Zuse was the first to "devise an algorithmic language" which was "Plan Calculus: the name of the language he was deciphering.
-During that time his plan for this language was rejected by the dissertation process all because of an enrollment fee. -
Zuse - First Inventor of the Startup Computer (DEEMED)
Invented the world's first start up computer (Actually DEEMED)
-Huge Capitol market -
"Zuseaners'"
People who previously worked for Zuse. Classification between real and fake followers who support his teaching and what he invented
*1946-1949(Real)
*1965-1971 (Fake)
-They still hold meetings every year according to this website: http://www.horst-zuse.homepage.t-online.de/zuseaner.html -
Z4
After the ruining of his first research outlet, he resumed working immediately in Germany thus the invention of Z4 came to be rather quickly. -
Plotters Models: ZUSE Z64, Z90 & Z9004
Other plotters have created models dedicated and inspired by Konrad Zuse (1950's) -
Graphomat Z64
-Four colors
-Two transmissions
-Higher cost than other inventions

Awards/Legacy
After his death:
For his inventions, he was looked to as an innovator for further entrepreneurs.
Awards:
-Institution named after him: Zuse Institute Berlin
-Got a Computer History Museum award for his inventions in computer language, and his digital computers
-His own museum: Konrad Zuse Museum in Germany -
Z3 Becomes Turing-Complete
Zuse's Z3 invention is the only one to become Turing-Complete meaning his device is deemed universal
