    Professor of Mathematics

    Mach received a chain in the Math department at Graz where he stayed for 3 years. It wa here that he was introduced to the likes of Fechner and Hering. Although Mach credits his philosophical awakening to Kant, the obvious influences of Fechner in Machs work from this point on cannot be denied.
