Obtaining Skills
Eva (age 10) is wanting to learn how to paint a picture of her backyard using more than just her two favorite colors. Eriksons 4th stage is Industry vs. inferiority At this stage this is where an individual begins to learn traits and skills of ones general culture -
The Love Bugs
Eva (age 21) has not only met her love interest John, but they are now exclusively together after knowing each other for 3 years. Eriksons stage 6 is Intimacy vs Isolation The main focus at this time is to find a committed and intimate long term relationship -
Coming to an End
Eva (age 62) and John (age 65) sit together to ponder all of their great adventures together. Eva spends time to reflect and thin upon her choices. Eriksons stage 8 Ego Integrity vs Despair During this time eva is generally thinking about her life and beginning to accept that she has lived a full and happy one. and is beginning to come to terms and be at peace with her course of life.
