    Faith Entering Grade School: Industry vs. Inferiority
    When Faith entered education, she was not discouraged by her social standing, but she was influenced by the constant weight of her parents' opinions on whether she was doing well in school. She felt inferior to her peers because she believed they were more intelligent than she was. In Erikson's fourth stage, industry vs. inferiority, she was struggling between being productive or being inferior to schooling.

    Faith Entering Highschool: Identity vs. Role
    In high school, she thought her group of friends was great. Thus, she wanted to be like them and fit in. She was unsure if she should be herself or try to blend in with the group and be like them. In Erikson's Fifth Stage, identity vs. role, she was uncertain of who she was and asked herself frequently what her identity was.
  • Entering a Serious Relationship: Intimacy vs. Isolation

    Entering a Serious Relationship: Intimacy vs. Isolation
    While entering college, she started a relationship with her current boyfriend. In Erikson's sixth stage, intimacy versus isolation, she chose intimacy and began a serious relationship. She supported them, and they supported her. She did not isolate herself romantically and is now pursuing love.
