  • Industry vs. Inferiority

    Industry vs. Inferiority
Jane (Age 11) meets friends in school who have a mutual interest in weather forecasting. Jane had asked her mother to sign her up for an after-school program that's guest-hosted by a local news forecaster, which was successfully propelling for Jane. In Erikson's fourth stage, Industry vs. Inferiority, the industry sense of belonging and being able to learn the trades of the workforce encourages better skills as opposed to being unable to learn (inferiority) and not learning what's demanded
  • Intimacy vs. Isolation

    Intimacy vs. Isolation
Jane (Age 20) and John happily married each other off the shorelines of Hawaii, they found each other in Science class during high school and have been hard to separate since. In Erikson's sixth stage, it is a crisis faced to finding an strong, intimate bond with someone in life unless struggling to open up to those around them by limiting those they trust and interact with (isolation)
  • Generativity vs. Stagnation

    Generativity vs. Stagnation
Jane (Age 28) and John have a child, resulting in Jane resigning from the local weather station and happily transitioning to a stay-at-home mother. With free time in the schedule, she hosts online seminars of weather operations to high schools all around the world. In Erikson's seventh stage, Generativity vs. Stagnation, depends how one desires to help the next generation (which Jane wants to provide for her own and the next.) If one does not desire to do so, they greatly risk stagnation.
