Trust vs Mistrust: Age- 0 months to 18 months
On July 14th, Jasper was born to his parents David and Jane. During this age of infants, they will go through the Erikson's stage of trust vs mistrust. They will go through this by how Jane and David take care of baby Jasper. David and Jane must fulfill taking care of baby Jasper's basics needs. This will determine if Jasper trusts or mistrusts them. -
Industry vs Inferiority: Age- 6 to 12 years old
On August 22nd, David and Jane walk Jasper to his very first day of kindergarten. Jasper is nervous but David and Jane remind him of all the fun he will have of making new friends. During this stage of life, Erikson calls it Industry vs Inferiority. This stage you will develop social skills you will need in life. As David and Jane pick up Jasper from school, he tells them hoe fun his days was and how he met so many new friends! David and Jane were happy he had a wonderful day. -
Intimacy vs Isolation: Age- 18 to 25 years old
Hooray! David and Jane celebrate on May 9th in the stands watching Jasper graduate high school. Jasper is now in Erikson's stage of Intimacy vs Isolation. This stage he is entering is establishing romantic relationship, creating realistic goals for his future, going to college, getting jobs and many more exciting life experiences. Jasper is now off to college!
