Trust vs Mistrust
Alli and Reyn have been happily married for four years. They had a beautiful baby girl named Kelly, who is very healthy and taken care of. She does not do well away from her parents especially when she's with her babysitter This is an example of Erikson's first stage, trust versus mistrust. Kelly is very comfortable with her parents around or in other words, she is attached with them because she feels very secure and her parents have given her a consistent home life. -
Integrity vs despair
Nikki always go back to the stage of her life where she feels hopeless and depressed ( despair ) In Erikson's 8th stage, integrity versus despair, Nikki reflects on the life she has lived and comes away with either a sense of satisfaction from a life well relished or a sense of regret and despair over a life wasted. -
Intimacy vs Isolation
Ley just moved in Cali, and she went out with an old ex. She was excited about the date they were planning. This is an example of Erikson's Intimacy versus Isolation stage.
Ley has the chance to become romantically involved with this boy. This gives her an opportunity for commitment, security, and affection. She no longer wants to feel isolated or abandoned.
