At the 1924 Olympics Eric Lindell dropped out of the 100m run because it was scheduled on a Sunday. After that he started training for the 200 and 400 m run. Eric Lindell ended up winning gold in the 400m and bronze in the 200m -
After the Olympics
In 1924 he went back to his university to graduate and in 1925 he ran his final races and won many awards in Scott land -
Mission work in China
In 1932 he went back to China where he met his wife. There he taught wealthy kids and gave boys sports training. He also had a church Sunday school there. -
Death
In the late 1930s China became more dangerous. In 1943 Lindell was sent to a camp where he helped the elderly and played games with the kids. During that time In February 1945 Lindell got a brain tumor and died.
