    This was the first amusement park opened for Afircan Americans. Amusement park first began to open in 1904 and the first roller coaster in Chicago appeared in 1907. This was a very popular event that many people enjoyed going to.

    Horse racing was a very popular past time due to the gambling involved. Arlington Park was a popular track for many Chicagoans and it still exists today.

    At the time this was the largest indoor aquarium in the world. The under water creatures that were housed in the aquarium were new to many visitors.
