The enlightment was a way of people's personal rights. Their beliefs was that they can make a difference in the world by changing the government, because they wanted to get rid of absolute monacrchy. -

An Dutch painter, This painter worked with emotional and bold colors. Born March30 1853 and died July 29 1890. He was 37 when he died from an gunshot wound. He started his works at an young age. He finished his best works his last couple years of his life. -

The imperialism increased as a result of industrializtion, because of the transportation improved and there was more advanced weapons.Their strength was stong economics and they had their government was organized, they navies and armies were very powerful. -
World War 1
During the World War 1 they had new technology, Guns , Rapid-fire machine guns, and long-range artillery guns. Aircraft, airplanes and Zeppelins. Poison Gas and Tanks. The cost of ww1 was staggering, Millions of people were killed. This war ended with Russia out of the war, and Germany was free to forcus on the Western Front, and able to make the final push.The Balkans was known as the "Powder Keg" of Europe prior to ww1 because they were falling apart.
