December 2nd, 1804 Napoleon crowns himself as Emperor
This date is where Napoleon became Emperor. He supposedly snatched the crown from the Pope and crowned himself. -
March 21st, 1804 establishment of the Napoleonic Code
The Napoleonic Code was established on this date. It was the main influence of the 19th century civil codes. -

Napoleon Dies of stomach cancer at the age of 51. He dies at Saint Helena in Longwood.
