The Bill of Rights is an English precursor of the Constitution. It limited the power of the English soverign, and was written by Parliament. -
Albany Plan of Union
The Albany Plan of Union was a proposal to create a unified government in the 13 colonies. It was suggested by Benjamin Franklin, delegate from Pennsylvania. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was when British Army soldiers killed 5 men and injured 6 people. The tensiion between the colonists and British soldiers caused the British to take fire at the crowd of people. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was a political protest by the Sons of Liberty in Boston. They disguised as Indians and dumped an entire shipment of tea into the harbor. -
