The Railroad to the Sachsenhausen
Thomas and his family were crossing Czechoslovakia to a Sachsenhausen concentration camp in Germany. They were being transported from Auchwitz Poland. As they were crossing a bridge, people started throwing bread. Thomas had become more resenting and hated the Nazis more and more. Thomas realized that he hadn't eaten in the last 3 days. In which changed his character to spite the concentration camps and gave him more initiative.
